Mandawa is a small town that is part of the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan. Mandawa used to be a trading outpost for ancient caravan routes for China & Middle East who used to take halt at there. Mandawa is famous for its ancient Havelis (Old Mansions) which displays beautiful work of Fresco Painting. Fresco Paintings have always been one of the most prominent arts of Rajasthan & there cannot be a better place to demonstrate this, other than Mandawa. The rural life of Mandawa is far more vibrant & hospitable than other villages in India. Mandawa is one of the best cities to experience rural tourism.
Bikaner, once a barren wilderness before Rao Bika established the city in 15th Century. Today, Bikaner is a famous for one of the biggest forts in Rajasthan - Junagarh Fort. History reveals that despite several attempts by enemies, this fort was never captured. Few miles from Bikaner, is Deshnok temple. Also knows as "Rat Temple", this temple is famous for being the only temple where rats are treated as gods & are fed by temple authorities twice on daily basis.
Kuchaman falls in the Nagaur District of Rajasthan. A semi developed town, Kuchaman is quite a famous place for shooting of Indian Films (Bollywood). Famous of its Havelis and a a very attractive Fort (Currently a hotel) displays a rich collection of very old inlay work of Precious stones, gold & glass paint. Roopangarh is a rural town of Rajasthan and is a home of a beautiful Fort of Roopangarh which is now converted into a luxury hotel. Around the Fort, a substantial town grew up that became a center point for artisans & handicraft manufacturers. A village tour of Roopangarh is an unforgettable experience.

Pushkar, is one of the biggest pilgrimages for Hindus in India. Better known for hosting the largest cattle fair in the world, Pushkar is one of its only kinds of places with over 500 small / big temples in the stretch of a mile. Bundi is another town that promotes rural tourism and falls in the Hadoti region of Rajasthan. A town known for its marvalous work of Architecture for its ornate Palaces, Fort & Stepwell reservoirs. DETAILED ITINERARY - RURAL RAJASTHAN TOUR
DAY 1
Assistance upon arrival at Delhi International Airport & transfer to Hotel. Rest of the day free for relexation. Overnight stay at hotel.
DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel followed by guided tour of Delhi. Visit Qutub Minar, India Gate, Jama Masjid followed by an exclusive Rickshaw ride in the bustling market of Old Delhi. Later drive to Mandawa (250 Kms / 4.5 Hours). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & spend evening for relaxation.
DAY 3
Breakfast at the hotel followed by visit of ancient Mandawa Havelis famous for their Architecture & work of Fresco Painting. Later in the day, take a Rural walking tour of Mandawa exploring the local life style & hidden gems of the town. Return to hotel & stay overnight at Home stay.
DAY 4
Leisurely breakfast and then check-out from hotel & drive to Bikaner (193 Kms / 4 Hours). Upon arrival, Check-in at the hotel & later in the day, visit Junagarh Fort of Bikaner. In the evening, visit the local market of Bikaner famous for local delicacies. Overnight stay at the hotel

DAY 5
After breakfast at hotel, Check-out & drive to Kuchaman (220 Kms / 5 Hours). En-route, visit one of its only kind temple in Deshnok - Rat Temple. A temple where rats are treated as Gods & fed by the locals on daily basis. Upon arrival in Kuchaman, Check-in at the hotel & later take a guided tour visiting Meera Mahal, Jal Mahal & Chinese Pol. Experience rural tourism in Rajasthan at its best. Return to hotel & stay overnight.
DAY 6
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel & then check-out. Drive to Roopangarh (60 Kms / 2 Hours). Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Later in the evening, take a rural safari in the local village of Roopangarh while interacting with the local community. Return to hotel & stay overnight.
DAY 7
Breakfast at the hotel & spend some time free at your leisure. Later in the day, Check-out & drive to Pushkar (60Kms / 2 Hours). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later take a Spiritual Walk of Pushkar to explore local Culture, Religions & flavors. Return to hotel & stay overnight.
DAY 8
Breakfast at the hotel & later take an excursion to Ajmer to visit the famous Ajmer Mosque also known as Dargah of Moinuddin-Chishti. Also visit the Jain Temples of Ajmer which offers excellent work of stone carving. Return to Pushkar & transfer to Desert camps. Enjoy camel safari in the desert followed by dinner. Stay overnight in the desert camps.
DAY 9
Wake up with the first ray of Sun in the desert & enjoy early breakfast in the desert & drive to Bundi (185 Kms / 4 Hours). Famous for its miniature paintings, Bundi is a perfect place to witness some great painting work on Bundi Fort & local houses. Located amidst Aravali mountain ranges, enjoy your evening at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
DAY 10
Leisurely breakfast at the hotel & Check-out. Drive to Jaipur (200 / 5 Hours). Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later in the day, visit a famous white marble temple of Lord Vishnu. Overnight stay at hotel
DAY 11
Breakfast at the hotel & then take an excursion to Amber city (Former Capital). Take an Elephant ride to the Amber Fort & come down while walking in the ancient lanes with some of the most marvelous temples. Take a pit-stop at Water Palace, which used to be a pleasure palace for kings. After lunch, take a Heritage Walking Tour of Jaipur exploring the Architecture, Culture, Art & Craft of walled city of Jaipur. Return to hotel & stay overnight.
DAY 12
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & drive to Agra (250 Kms / 5 Hours). En-rout visit an ancient Stepwell at Abhaneri Village. Continue your drive to Agra. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel & later visit Taj Mahal, which is one of the 7 wonders of the world. After spending few hours in Taj Mahal, explore the market and then return to hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 13
Breakfast at the hotel & Check-out. Drive to Delhi (220 Km / 4 Hours). Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Airport / Hotel for your onward journey. This will be the end of your rural tourism experience in Rajasthan.
